NEW YORK, NY - JUNE 25, 2015 -- Heartless Bastards have released a hilarious new video for the song "Hi-Line" from their just-released album Restless Ones. The video was directed by Frank Weysos and stars Bushwick Bill who plays the band's agent taking calls from people looking for country, rock and hip hop acts, telling each of them that he has JUST the band they're looking for, and the clip rolls out showing them having a great time dressing up as gangstas, a death metal band, and a classic country act.

The reviews for Restless Ones have been stellar. "Erika Wennerstrom's voice cuts deep: It's warm yet gritty, throaty yet sweet, gigantic, yet intimate," said NPR. "As the singer-guitarist of the Heartless Bastards, she's found the perfect vessel for that voice - a mix of country-rock twang, classic-rock heroics and restless ambition that's not afraid to incorporate psychedelia, indie rock and pure pop songcraft. All of these elements are on display throughout Restless Ones." Pitchfork said, "With their fifth studio album, it's safe to bet that the quartet will have little trouble eliciting an energy of '70s-era Thin Lizzy proportions. Erika Wennerstrom has always possessed the kind of powerhouse vocals that electrify a crowd, and the atmosphere of Restless Oneslives up to that intensity...This is a band that was born to be heard via massive, blaring speakers, using their colossal sound to fill every corner of a cavernous stadium."

Restless Ones came out June 16. It is the band's fifth album and was produced by GRAMMY® Award-winning producer John Congleton (St. Vincent, Angel Olsen, Swans). Restless Ones was tracked in August 2014 during a 10-day session at El Paso, TX's renowned Sonic Ranch. Located on 2,300 acres of pecan orchards bordering the Rio Grande and Mexico, the studio - the largest residential recording complex in the world - provided the perfect setting, miles away from all real world responsibilities and thus able to fully invest themselves in the act of creation.

Heartless Bastards are currently on a summer tour with support from Craig Finn (of The Hold Steady). The tour kicked off on June 10 at the Thirsty Hippo in Hattiesburg, MS and takes them across the east coast and Midwest before ending on July 2 at Trees in Dallas, TX. A September tour with Alberta Cross opening has also been confirmed, as have October dates with Slothrust.
